Prof Abhijit Bhattacharya is the Dean of Globsyn Business School (Ahmedabad) and Director of the Asian Institute of Family Business (a new initiative of the Globsyn Group). He holds a PhD in Economics and M.Sc. in Physics & Mathematics. Abhijit worked in various capacities in Bombay University, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Indiara Gandhi National Open University, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Harvard University and University of Natal (South Africa). While working in South Africa as the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship he had set up an independent business incubation centre in Durban with financial support and technical assistance from various national and international organizations. Abhijit has a vast teaching and consulting experience in the areas of business strategy, performance management , startup formation and SME training. He frequently writes for The Economic Times.
