Paragon foundation of Palm Beach County has helped small businesses grow by financing them. The foundation has been functioning as a community development financial institution after it got established in the year 2006.
Considering the performance of the Paragon foundation during past five years, the U.S. Treasury has decided to make $300,000 available to the foundation so as to encourage it to keep helping disadvantaged and rural communities.
Paragon will be using this award to continue in its mission to help underprivileged community businesses find working capital in the form of loans. Thus, Paragon can come forward to support emerging, start-up, and mature businesses to find development grants, entrepreneurial scholarships, and small business loans grant.
The support from Treasury will provide the much needed capital to Paragon foundation. Thus, the foundation can continue in its effort to make loans available to disadvantaged businesses that creates jobs, makes new hires, and works to bring overall improvements of communities.
