Small Businesses operating in Miami-Dade and Broward Storefront can have a new lease of life in the form of fund-flow from micro-lenders. Just having a business is not everything. It needs to be groomed, funded for expansion, and taken care of. So, for Miami-Dade and Broward storefront businesses, there is the ‘Partners for Self Employment’ – a nonprofit and certified micro-lender, offering grants up-to $7,500 to business owners.
The loans are made available to even home based business owners with no credit check or collateral required. On filing of loan applications, business owners will be given grants within seven business days. Loans are given to entrepreneurs so that they can meet their requirements to expand their enterprise. The interest rate for the loan grant is also kept low – just 8 percent. So, small business owners can afford to pay back loan interests at this rate.
People who are interested in this program need to attend a short introductory session before filing loan applications. While submitting the application, there is also a loan application fee of $30 per application that has to be paid. Loan applications are received by loan officers deployed by ‘Partners for Self Employment’ till the end of September. Disbursement of loans is already made in the first batch of loan applicants.
