A free seminar is being hosted by North Hempstead Business & Tourism Development Corp. The seminar will highlight incentives that are available to small businesses. The attendees will get to learn about the opportunities that are available.
The seminar will bring into limelight the various business programs that the federal government offers to small businesses. Following are the main highlights of the seminar:
– The Small Business Administration’s ‘Business Physical & Economic Development Disaster Injury Loans’ is a pertinent program available for entrepreneurs at low interest rates.
– The new small business program (LEADS) of Nassau County Industrial Agency (Nassau IDA), offers tax exemptions and sales to businesses having less than 100 employees.
– NYS Department of Labor’s Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is being highlighted in the seminar. It allows businesses to hire from 11 targeted groups. The department also has a program named as Disaster Unemployment Insurance (DUI) for the self- employed.
– The NYS Emergency Small Business Loan Program of the New York State’s Empire State Development Corp. (ESDC) is also an amazing program that offers $25,000 to businesses having fewer than 100 employees.
The other programs that are highlighted in the seminar are ‘ESDC’s Excelsior program’ and the ‘Targeted Loan & Micro Loan program’ of the Long Island Development Corp. (LIDC)’s.
In the seminar, leading spokesperson will put their views and guide attendees about the multitude of programs that have been put in place to help businesses thrive and grow. To participate in the seminar, prior registration is mandatory.
