The Nebraska District Office is going to sponsor one hour seminar that will demystify the processes involved in applying for federally guaranteed small business loans. The seminar is titled as “Take the Mystery Out of SBA Loans”. This seminar is being conducted at the right time as businesses see an increased economic activity during summer and fall season.
Entrepreneurs would certainly like to attend this seminar and take steps to launch a new business. SBA guaranteed loan programs are definitely important source of financing. By attending the seminar, entrepreneurs can learn how to apply for loans from lenders in their area. It will demystify the way funds are received and will make processes of applying for loans easier for the entrepreneurs. The SBA is known to offer short term and long term loans to eligible, credit-worthy startups and other businesses. This agency meets the funding requirements of small businesses and its programs are designed to fulfill the needs of small businesses.
The seminar will have representatives from SBA who will highlight the importance of business plan . There has to be good enough reason for lenders to prefer using SBA guaranteed loans. During last six months, SBA has been working with commercial lending partners, and approved 186 loans totaling $61.7 million for small businesses across Nebraska. This is the highest approval rate after 2007. Also, 45 percent of the approvals made during first half of this fiscal have been directed to fund new businesses. In Nebraska, 800 new jobs were created and 1,400 jobs are kept on payroll during past six months.
