What Is a Line of Credit?
A line of credit gives you flexible access to funds up to a pre-approved limit. You pay interest only on the amount you borrow, and your available credit replenishes as you repay.
The major types of lines of credit include:
- Personal Line of Credit (PLOC): For personal expenses and emergencies.
- Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC): For borrowing against home equity.
- Business Line of Credit (BLOC): For business expenses, working capital, and cash flow needs.
Biz2Credit offers business lines of credit to help small businesses access funds for their financing needs.

FAQs About Line of Credit
Straight answers about eligibility, fees, and funding speed.
Biz2Credit's Business Line of Credit (BLOC) allows qualified customers to apply for flexible financing, with their business approved for a predetermined credit limit. Upon approval, customers are required to make a minimum initial draw, after which they can access funds as needed for the agreed upon period of 12 months for the line of credit. This is a line of credit for small businesses as well as medium to large businesses, depending on their needs.
Like our Term Loan product, there are three minimum criteria that a borrower needs to meet to qualify for the business line of credit. FICO score, average business revenue and time in business. FICO scores for the majority owner of the business should be 650 or above, average business revenue should be a minimum of $250,000 per year based on the last six months of revenue, and the company must be in business for at least 12 months at the time of applying for funding. This can change based on an applicant's qualifications. You are only eligible if your business is in one of our qualified states listed here.
Applying for a business line of credit does not affect your credit score.
Once the initial draw is made, you have ongoing access to the credit line for 12 months, enabling you to request funds at any time during the term, up to the last 5 days. Just sign in to the Biz2Credit portal with your username and password, and on your Biz2Credit dashboard you can make your next draw request from your line of credit. Draw requests are subject to underwriting review and approval of draw requests is at the sole discretion of the lender. After 12 months your business will be reassessed for eligibility to renew the credit line.
Getting a line of credit for your business is easy! Click here, create your Biz2Credit account and start your application for funding -- it only takes a couple of minutes. Once your application and your financial documents are submitted to underwriting, your business will be reviewed for eligibility for a line of credit. If you are approved, you will be notified and can login to your account to complete the contract to activate your credit line.
